Mt Iron is a little hill overlooking Wanaka. If it had a cafe on top I'd been up there everyday, but as there is of course none we had to bring up our own stuff... fair enough ;)
being protected from the wind was kind of a crucial point for enjoying the hard earned meal :)
hmmmm... cake is good for you :) think it was an iced orange cake... was a bit damaged as it had to last under some stuff inside my backpack all the way to the hill and up, but still tasted great :)
