There's quite a lot to do in and around Auckland.

Been to the Death Acoustic Tour of Nick Oliveri on the 13th with Petra which was absolutely great.
Edward Gains played first and that guy,too was just fantastic!
Haven't seen anybody rocking a "normal" acoustic guitar like those two...
Location in a pub a bit outside of the city center was perfect as well, especially the chimney inside it, where I could easily place my mobile for capturing the whole (!) concert :)
I will try to upload it to youtube or so but have to work if it's possible, as it is like 200mbs...

On the 17th Terror were playing a gig at a cool little club located only a 5min walk from the flat.
Seen them already 3 times, but the 4th was the best so far. Just soooo much energy during the concert...

Next days I'd like to have a look at Piha (another beautiful spot in short distance to Akl central).
Or perhaps do a skydive?!? ;)

It has to be all spontaneous activities as the weather is changing far more often then in april... So I decide when I get up what there is to do.

Will get some some sleep now...
Who knows what there is to do tomorrow ;)

so long

our company at the beach

hopefully one of the last of this slyline, but there so many cool photo opportunities ;)

guess what

;)

Another one of skyline Akl :)
This time from St. Heliers (sort of suburb of Akl).

but during the shooting it can look a bit strange... :)

sorry Petra, I was somehow forced to upload it ;)

when a photo like this is taken, it looks quite nice...

As it was a nice sunny and warm day Petra and me went up One Tree Hill for another view over the city. Can't be that many left now :)

Lady Knox Geysir @ Wai-O-Tapu Geothermal Wonderland Rotorua

Would be even better with a little nicer weather?!

Looks like an enchanted place...

Be happy that pictures don't smell!!! ;)
don't have a clue who is standing there, but was a nice motive

as the weather in Rotorua was REALLY bad most of the time I had to take photos of other stuff there

perhaps I upload some of the cool pix Martin did from Champagne Pool etc...

Our place for the night @ Hannah Bay next to Lake Rotorua

Weather was really bad but to see some kiwibirds was really cool (even though it was not in wilderness...)
Would have never thought them to be that big!

P.S.: if one comes back to life as female kiwibird, the collected karma in the last life must have been REALLY bad... ;)

On our way to Rotorua...

bytheway:
Bike is now REALLY ready to go after another 300$ for front and rear rotor + gear changer :(
But I have to say, the brakes haven't been that good for long time ;)
As nice weather is anounced for tomorrow and the concert of Nick Oliveri (which will be sooooo cool for sure) starts at 8pm I might have a look at the local bike park... We'll see... ;)

good night world

and on the last meters some Pukekos
